Manga: Chapter 611 (SPOILERS)

Isn't Nami just so CUTE! haha You got to like it when Nami is happy and stuff. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Even though she is older and has longer hair she can pull off her cuteness charm. haha She would demand that the price would be lower for a designer shirt then get happy for getting it for free. Then again who doesn't like free stuff? haha

It seems like another StrawHat has been reunited with Luffy's group. I have a good feeling that the rest of the StrawHats are here in Pappugu's house since this is the second StrawHat that we have seen close to the starfish. Brook was in Mermaid Cafe chilling with him and Nami was checking out the shop in his house. Hopefully the others are there but that could change seeing that King Neptune is demanding that the StrawHats have an audience with him. Then again we could wait till next week to see if I am right. Looks like we are going to take a look at King Neptune and his castle. This should lead to some interesting things.

Still Sea God Neptune....Not sure if that is a translation thing or if the title is actually 'sea god'. Oda surely likes to give people high titles but the idea of a 'sea god' sure makes it feel a bit like Skypeia. Either there is a connection between Skypeia and Fishman Island or Oda just likes to make us feel as if we are in an underwater version of Skypeia. It is already bad enough with having two layers to get though like with the White Sea and the White White Sea and the whole 'have to go though the entry point' thing. If anything I should just kickback and see what happens.

Though it looks like the shark that we saw coming out of Surume back when Luffy, Sanji and Zoro beat him. Guess he was important to King Neptune. I wonder if Hodi Jones and his men put the shark guy into Surume like some sort of prison. If not then it seems like shark person has just the same luck with getting eaten that Camie has. haha

Hopefully next week we can figure out what the Neptunium Army wanted to tell Luffy concerning Jimbei.

For real? Who here actually thought this was Arlong?

Speaking about Hodi Jones, seems like this guy is no joker. The guy is a monster under the sea as we saw him tear up Gyro and his crew. If this arc does anything then it would show us how dangerous fishmen are in the water. The Arlong Arc introduce us to fishmen but when you think about it we only saw a little bit of their strength. When I look back at it, if Luffy had fought Arlong in a pool or something then Arlong would have been a much tougher person to beat. A good example of my idea of was when Jones just went out and bit that one guy in Gyro's crew like a great white shark. Doesn't look good at all.

One thing that is interesting about Jones is his tattoos and his beliefs. He has the altered Fisher Tiger tattoo and his whole left hand is covered in what looks like a strange Arlong Pirates tattoo. He clearly idolizes Arlong and Fisher. It sounds like he has a justified hatred for humans unlike Arlong who was borderline racism. Then again to be fair to Arlong we don't know much about his backstory beside what he did to Nami and her island. Either way Jones has bigger plans it seems as he wants to bring down the humans and make fishmen the 'higher species' by making his name famous by sending destroyed pirates up to the surface of the New World.

Though the question that I pose is how powerful Jones really is? Jones had to use a drug called 'Energy Steroid' that made him go from fat looking fishie to tough and buff shark. To tell the truth, the first time I saw Jones I as thinking, "Is this guy really going to be our big bad for this arc? He is freaking lazy looking!". Then we saw him buff up after taking that Energy Steroid and I could see how he could be consider a powerful guy. The guy took those pills like they were candy and apparently they are not good to use. So the ability to drink these pills down easily must be a feat. I just wonder if he could handle in a fight without these pills.

Then the other thing that I am wondering is Jones powerful enough to take out an Emperor such as 'Big Mum' Linlin. He doesn't like humans and if Linlin is in control of Fishman Island then he must not liking that. Then again I am only saying this based on the idea that Linlin is human. For all we know she could be a mermaid or something. Will this end up being a war between New Fishman Pirates Captain Jones and Emperor 'Big Mum' Linlin with Luffy in the middle? Who knows but I do wonder if we will see this kind of clash.

So question that I leave you guys to answer: How powerful do you think Hodi Jones really is? Could he actually be consider a major threat even though he takes 'Energy Steroids'?
