News Piece: Restaurant in Japan!

Hello Everyone! Welcome to One Piece At A Time Blog's first weekly  News Piece! Sometime each week, I will be giving you guys the latest news from Japan to America to keep you guys updated on every thing One Piece related! So without further ado, let's start!


One Piece Restaurant Grand Opening
First up the biggest news this week was the launch of the One Piece Restaurant in Japan. This summer, Universal Studio's Japan is hosting a One Piece themed restaurant as part of One Piece Premiere Summer, which appears to be a live action show of One Piece at WaterWorld. Weekly TV Rankings

In other news, ratings for this past week's episode of One Piece have been released. One Piece was #5 on the list  of animation TV rankings in Japain with a rating of 8.9. One Piece continues to blast through the ratings as usual!



International DVD Releases 

In terms of dvd releases in Japan, One Piece Collection "Skypiea" is selling of the charts this week being #3 on Japan's animation dvd rankings selling  a total of 24,736 copies!

Also for Australian fans, be sure to pick up One Piece Collection 10 featuring episodes 117-130!





New York Times Manga Best Sellers List

Our last piece of news is a bit sad, One Piece volume 57 sadly did not make the New York Times list this week. Hopefully next week it can at least get to #10. C'mon One Piece fans! If you haven't bough volume 57 do so, trust me it is worth it!
