Wanted: Blogger and Editor Needed

You may notice that this site has undergone some changes in the last six months. Most of those changes have been for the better. Still, in order to truly make this site the best that it can be and cover a series as huge like One Piece, we are going to need your help.

We are in need of bloggers and editors for this site. We need more volunteers to provide more content for this site while making sure it comes out in a timely manner and at the highest quality.

We need a blogger to help report news, type out interesting articles and possibly do episode and/or chapter reviews. As for an editor, we need somebody that can proof articles in a timely manner. Read on after the jump for more information.



Title: Blogger
Overview: To report on news topics, write interesting content in the form of reviews and editorials in regarding to One Piece.
Responsibilities: Need to be able to research news topics relating to One Piece and report about it on a weekly basis.  This may involve additionally writing editorials relating to One Piece. If needed, applicants must be able to write episode and/or chapter reviews. Applicants must be able to do proofing prior to submitting to an editor.
Qualifications: Must have understanding of the English language and basic writing skills. A passion and knowledge of One Piece is required. Applicants must be current with the series either in the anime and/or manga. A creative mind is needed to come up with new content in type or other media (Video, Audio, Facebook, etc). Prior blogging experience isn't needed but preferred. No experience with Blogger or Wordpress is needed. Applicants must have experience with and access to Microsoft Word or a similar word processor.

Title: Editor
Overview: To review and proof all content prior to posting on the site in a timely manner.
Responsibilities: Need to be able to proofread and edit articles. Some rewriting may be required. This needs to be done in a timely manner in order to ensure that the material is relevant. If needed, write content which may include reviews or editorials. 
Qualifications: Must have an understanding of the English language, proofreading and writing skills. Must be organized, pay attention to detail, and have good communication skills.  A passion for and knowledge of One Piece is required. Applicants must be current with the series either in the anime and/or manga. Prior blogging experience isn't needed but preferred. No experience with Blogger or Wordpress is needed. Applicants must have experience with and access to Microsoft Word or similar word processor.

The guy is good at getting his people all rally up. All the jailers (that haven't been beaten up by the NewKamas) seem all excited to see Hannyabal to fight. Though I was with  Luffy and was wondering what  was going on. I think Luffy has the right to be puzzled since just out of nowhere this guy appears before you that you never seen before to fight you. The only reason he has to fight Hannyabal is because the guy won't let him go down the stairs. Well that has been the story of this arc for Luffy. All the kid wants to do is go see his brother and nobody is letting him do that.

If Hannyabal was a bit faster and could maybe cut Luffy up a bit then this would have been a much more interesting fight. Clearly not one of the best fights in this arc. We do get some interesting information/views later on from Hannyabal but nothing to party about right now.

There is so much I want to do this year with the site but I can't do it without having more hands on deck. I am willing to except more than one volunteer for either position. If you are interested in being a part of this site then feel free to apply for these volunteer positions.
