It's so funny how so many things from this first episode are still relevant 550+ episodes later. Luffy's reaction to Coby's cowardice is litteraly identical to the reaction of another character he met in the arc we're on now.
Another interesting thing to note is of all the things I'm most aticipated to see in One Piece, Coby confronting and capturing Alvida is one of the things I'm still eagerly waiting for.
I know right. There are some things I'll cover in part 3 that are even more important. That's why I consider the first episode so important. It does so much to establish what the series is all about.
I would like to see Coby vs. Alvida and Usopp vs. Kuro in the new world. Just because those fights would mean a lot. :) Thanks for watching.
