Manga: Chapter 725 (SPOILERS!)

SPOILERS!

Okay we forgive you, as long as you read One Piece each week in Weekly Shonen Jump!
Continuing from last time, Law continues the battle against Doflamingo in order to fulfill a dedication of someone he knew. I guess we're going to get another flashback soon.

But back out at sea, Nami sails the Sunny towards Zou while Sanji strikes up a conversation with Momonosuke who has turned back into a dragon. We actually see why Doflamingo's image freaked him out back at Punk Hazard through a flashback of ol' Donnie torturing and killing a subordinate.

This was back when he and Kin'emon had previously visited Dressrosa along with Kanjuro (who is silhouetted) and planned to escape. As we all know, only the two left as Momonosuke believes Doflamingo captured Kanjuro at some point.

Its always disturbing to see Doflamingo's sadistic side

Sanji has only one person on his mind: Violet. We see through another flashback when they were escaping on the toy horse, that Violet will be safe from Doflamingo because she has an old acquaintance with Government protection.

Interestingly enough, we see Violet back in the present (still horseback) shooting a monitor showing Rebecca's fight in the Arena while viewers are insulting her. Wonder if that means anything, but in any case she heads towards the Palace.

Outside the Corrida Colosseum, Bartolomeo (still in fanboy mode) is talking to Zoro and Kin'emon and he offers to help look look for Luffy as long as he gets Zoro's autograph. What a guy.

This will never get old to me

In the arena Rebecca kicks butt in the arena and still continues to defeat others without actually harming the opponents. Luffy (who is still watching her inside) realizes that Rebecca can use Haki in order to not actually hurt anyone and cheers for her, at least someone likes her.

Another opponent named Rolling Logan sets his sights on Rebecca and claims that he'll break every bone in her body...sure. In a waiting room, Sai is impatient since Chin Jaohas been in surgery for a while but is told that he already left since the exit is on the other side of the facility. Sai apologies profusely and goes in to get examined...or not!

He gets dropped down a chute, landing in a dungeon where several contestants who lost the tournament (including Chin Jao) as well as several broken toys. The chapter ends with nobody knowing what is going on and Chin Jaovows that he'll hold a grudge towards Doflamingo until his grand children's generation.

Look out for "the Curse of Chin Jao" this Halloween!

Pretty interesting this week. We're starting to see things I wasn't even thinking about like Momonosuke's fear of Doflamingo and Rebecca's use of haki. It also raises more questions such as; who is the person that Law is trying to honor by attacking Doflamingo, what is Violet's overall motivation and what exactly is going to happen to these failing contestants?

The Straw Hats (as well as Law) themselves get slightly sidestepped this week but that's okay since they'll get their time soon enough with a big fight. When exactly this is happening, I couldn't tell you at this point but the wait will be worth it. Keep in mind that we are once again on a break next week so we'll see what happens in a couple of weeks. Until then I'll be playing Pokemon Y and Ace Attorney 5. Have fun everyone!

Finally! Someone saying something nice...sort of.
