Manga: Chapter 748 (SPOILERS!)

SPOILERS!

Just a heads up guys; One Piece will be on break for 2 weeks since Oda is getting his tonsils removed. This will be starting after next week. So while the Doctor is in, catch up with One Piece in Weekly Shonen Jump and Viz.

Continuing from last time, people are trying to stop Luffy from laughing at Pica's ridiculous chipmunk voice. Enraged, Pica attacks sending Luffy and the others flying while possibly crushing others. Luffy's gang managed to survive outside the Colosseum.

Cavendish shows up and tries to attack Law since he is part of the "Worst Generation" but Luffy saves him because he claims that Law is his friend (to which Law objects) and even asks why Cavendish still hates him. But Luffy is wrong, Cavendish has changed his minds about the Straw Hats due to the actions of God Usopp.

C'mon why wouldn't you trust the crazy bishonen?

Cavendish decides that he shall be the one to take Doflamingo's head to repay the debt...although I'm not sure about that because just a couple panels later he wants to regain his fame by killing Doflamingo. While he blabbers on, Luffy and the others run off and bump into Chinjao and his comrades.

Coincidentally, Chinjao also wishes to express his appreciation to Luffy by killing Doflamingo to which Luffy once again refuses. Then more characters like Hajrudin the giant, Elizabello II, Ideo and more want to take down Doflamingo. Luffy gets into an argument with them all but soon ex-toys arrive and try to kill Luffy, Law and Zoro because they have bounties from Doflamingo's "game" but the former combatants from before forget the argument and beat up the ex-toys.

"Its my job as the main character!"

Luffy spots his pal Ucy and rides upon him (along with Law and Zoro) towards Pica while the other combatants follow. The chapter ends with Pica once again trying to crush them all with his gigantic stone hand but Chinjao and Elizabello counterattack seemingly destroying his arm while Luffy once again argues with the others to quit following him!

Oh you guys *cue the Police Squad theme*

Its nice that Oda put all these characters that he introduced in the Battle Royales to good use. He made a hilarious situation out of everyone wanting to take down Doflamingo because normally its just Luffy who steps up to defeat the big enemy of the arc.

But of course our Titan-sized obstacle Pica needs to be taken out first. I have a feeling the other pirates will be taking care of him while Luffy goes straight for Doflamingo but we'll have to see. Anyway I hope you all enjoyed this chapter, look forward to the next one and send your prayers to Oda while he goes through the operation.
