Anime: Post Marineford Arc- Episode 504

Just like Ace and Luffy have to deal with Garp beating some sense into them, so do I, in the form of my boss (coughcoughMikeycough), doing so to me on my late posts. Of course, mine is mentally ensued. Ace and Luffy…not so much. Only at OnePieceOfficial.com.
First Thoughts
Oh look, it is Sora with (fake gasp) another *Late* episode! Go figure. But hey, it IS a holiday weekend. Well, for us Americans, that is. Gotta love them federal holidays~ Hm, just noticed that there is very few screenpics tonight. Oh well, Mikey will make it up to you guys! (so I hear)
What a fantastic episode! It totally cheered me up from my depression of last episode with Sabo, because I thought of a fantastic idea~ Ha, take that, my friend told me a Wrong speculation on what happened to Sabo! Haha! Well, I am just really excited to see Ace and Luffy’s separate send-offs, and how they learned who they were. It was a really important, relatively canon episode from the looks of things. Exactly the way I like it. I loved seeing what Makino did for Ace; that was hysterical when I realized that! Of course, seeing that Luffy is always thinking of Ace and Sabo…well, it really brings you into the mysterious realm of the Mind of Luffy. It makes me re-think what he is thinking about all the time on the Sunny Go’s head. Huh. Overall, this is a definitely excellent final episode to the trio’s flashback arc, and I loved seeing every minute of it; especially the part which gave me a fabulous idea about what Really happens to a character~

Anime: Post Marineford Arc- Episode 502

This is what One Piece is all about people. Oh yeah. OnePieceOfficial.com shows you the true side of the story.
First Thoughts
What can I say? Wow. Yes, this episode pretty much Blew My Mind with amazing-ness. So much epic rolled into a canon-y mixture of excitement and evil…wow. Although I posted this late, I have to say it is Way better than not at all. I consider this a high honor to have worked on this episode in particular. So many glorious things revealed, and the suspense still just continued to rise and rise! Fantastic. What else is there to do? Go. Watch. This. Episode. And all of the ones following this one. It is an episode worthy of getting people hooked on the entire series, or one that totally renews one’s own faith in the series. Trust me: you will never regret this.

Anime: Post Marineford Arc- Episode 501

This pretty much sums up the whole episode, in all of it's desperate glory. Only at OnePieceOfficial.com.
First Thoughts
This is an absolutely thrilling episode. The betrayal, the evil, the true muck of this kingdom…it is horrible beyond belief. The whole episode kept me on the edge of my seat, screaming, crying, wailing, exclaiming…it was all just too much for one school night, haha! The suspense, the horror, the corruption of the ruling nobles…all disgusting, and disgraceful. Not to even mention the surprise guest, who is indeed Amazing and astounding beyond words. I have not been this excited for a flashback episode in…well, a long time, haha! Exhilarating, and yet so horrifying, that such people can exist in the world, and what is worse, be in charge of a portion of it. It makes me literally sick to my stomach to think about how this was all going on. The sadness…the horror…it was just so much…especially Sabo’s final realization and admittance. That was the most impressive thing so far this whole flashback arc. Amazing.

Anime: Post Marineford Arc- Episode 499 *Late*

“Luffy could have been eaten…by Lions, or Tigers, or Bears, oh my!” Oh wait, there were no Lions here. Silly Sabo.  OnePieceOfficial.com: Be there.
First Thoughts
Well, I have to start off by saying that I was really unsure how this episode would turn out. After all, I do not know yet how long this Arc is going to be, so I don’t know when to expect the end of it. I Do, however, know the basis of how it ends (which is unfortunate), so I figured this was not the end. I liked the teamwork developing more between the boys, but also think it is really interesting to watch how much skill Luffy is going to have learned at this age. The overall premise of the episode was cool and all, but I am looking forward to next week’s episode and getting back to the main focus, although this episode certainly had its foreshadowing moments which worry me considerably for the boys’ fate…
And for the sake of time and all purposes today, I will ignore the issue that this post is Almost 3 weeks late due to a need to just get this up and done with...

Anime: Post Marineford Arc- Episode 500

Don't be a creepy loser! Watch One Piece on OnePieceOfficial.com. Over 300 episodes to watch!

Thoughts
Well here we are. At big episode 500. Nothing super special but except that we finally return canon. Kind of strange to say that we are back to canon after having a few filler episodes. Then again this has been an amazing well done flashback so far. The anime has once again taken the material that Oda has provided and animated it nicely.

Along with coming back to canon we also see many creepy and disgusting people that came from within the mind of Oda. It is episodes like these where I wonder if Oda is trying to make a statement about society in his 'simple' boys manga.

Anime: Post Marineford Arc- Episode 497

This is the Boss (Mikey)’s face when my Post is late again…and also when he’s just fallen down a pit I dug. See why the Boss of the mountain bandits is like this at OnePieceOfficial.com today!

First Thoughts
So, I am thinking, “Hey, when am I going to be able to see this episode? Another one is already out, and I want to see the end of this Flashback Arc!” I start watching, and BAMP: it makes me excited once more. The beginning of the episode is much too fun and cute for its own good, cute little kids acting silly, and annoying the bandits to hysterics. This episode is WAY to adorable and funny for its own good!

Seriously though, too much happiness is always making up for some horrific event happening later, or soon…which is really, really bad in this Past Arc…aw…
