Manga: Chapter 581 (SPOILERS!)

So the war is over! The fighting is done! So now what are we doing? NOTHING! Or that is how this chapter looks like on the surface. Once you get pass that and think about it, you notice there is a huge beast behind these pages that is waiting to come out. Literally. I mean just look at that last page of this chapter to see what I mean! Clearly you be thinking that we would get some direction as in where we are going but by the time we got though with this chapter all we got was just more questions. Some of the questions we can take some really good guesses at what the answers are but by now we should know that our guesses are only guesses and nothing else. Though it is fun to guess. haha

Before I move on, I have to say that I really like the cover page for this week's chapter. Buggy and Shanks just eating and drink. A good pair. Oda is doing an awesome job in deciding who goes with who and what they are doing. Buggy's hand is just floating there pouring the drink which is cool to see. Kind of wish I was there with them having fun...Alas I have something called 'projects' and 'papers' to write...Grr...

Seems like the Marines and their reporters wasted no time in letting everybody know that it was them that won. I mean the whole world is cheering for their victory yet some of them may not know what actually happen at Marineford. I wonder how many of the people around the world know that it was actually Blackbeard who defeated Whitebeard. The people at Sabaody know that Blackbeard was the one who did the job but really...I think they may be a bit more happy that the fighting has stopped and that they don't have to worry about being wiped out by giant tidal waves made by crazy Blackbeard. haha

To tell the truth, I think we started to get a lot of questions starting with the Supernovas. First of all they seem to have been on their way the whole time. I guess Law wasn't the only one that thought they should have played Marineford a visit. To tell the truth, I didn't notice they were at Marineford till I notice it in the distance when Capone was talking. Kind of cool since it brings everything round circle. All the important players of the new age all in one place.

I think I see why Chapter 0 was made now. It was nice to see how the One Piece world was 20 or so years ago but it kind of build up to what we were going to see at the end of the Marineford arc with the deaths of Whitebeard and Ace to this 'New Era'. If you read Chapter 0 (The link leads to the post I made on Chapter 0, not the chapter) then you would see that we had great people like Shanks, Crocodile and even Dragon there in attendance of the execution. All young pirates back in those days. Now twenty or so years later, we have young pirates who have most likely witness all of what happen in person. Now what will they do? A question to think about because clearly everybody who saw Roger's death had moved on to bigger and better things.

So some questions that I been wondering and was brought up. What connection does Bonney has to this? She clearly is showing some emotion here. Who is him? Who is she going after? Who fault is this? This is just me thinking but apparently him and the person at fault are the same thing. More of what I think is that maybe Whitebeard is directly related to her? Grandpa? Dad? Maybe? Work with me people. So Bonney is upset with Blackbeard for killing Whitebeard and now wants revenge? Just me thinking is all. Also it seems like a lot of the Supernovas are focusing on Blackbeard so maybe that is a good sign of who Bonney means.

Also it seems like our boy Luffy is okay. Hawkins has confirm it and so far the guy hasn't been wrong! Good enough for me!

Clearly yes. We are now hitting some waters that we haven't seen before. This arc has not only changed the game of what we know that is One Piece but everything has made a circle. So many things that we have seen can reflect to things that we seen early in the series. The fact that Coby stood up to somebody stronger to him. I am thinking that what we saw with the whole world rejoicing about Whitebeard's death was the same thing that was going on back when Roger died. I mean the people at Jaya (Props to KoRnpedo for pointing that out to me) looks excited which shows the other half who were excited to go out and look for One Piece. Now Whitebeard has inspired more people to go out and look for it.

What is even worse is that we got confirmation for something that I thought what would happen if Whitebeard died. All of this via our good friend Mr. Brownbeard. Now clearly this is a man to take serious because his name has a color in it and the word 'beard' in it! Ohhh~ WOW~! Be afraid guys because he is a huge power here! Clearly somebody that Whitebeard beat down in the past but now that the old mustache guy is gone, good old Brownbeard can now roam around and do whatever he wants! May it be to slash down Whitebeard's flag and disturb the peace of the territories that the old man has created. I can't wait to see Redbeard though. He must be awesome. I bet you there is a secret society that is called, The Secret Society of the Beard! Yeah yeah! haha

Still I really wonder if the Marines or the World Government really thought out this war. Did they really wanted to kill Whitebeard or did it just happen? I am sure they know that Whitebeard is some sort of 'glue' that holds the peace of the world. He was able to take care of the places that the World Government didn't want or couldn't take care of. Apparently Whitebeard took care of more then just Fishman Island. So does the World Government and/or the Marines have some sort of plan to take care of all those people? Are they just going to let them suffer? Clearly the World Government doesn't care about the autioning of merpeople so I guess they may not care about these people. Clearly the Marines are not situated to help them out. Still maybe they can? Doubt it though. Now we have a void as Kid said and when there is a void, something has to fill it.

I am so going for Orangebeard to fill up that void. haha

Back at the farm....

Seems like the faith of Luffy is on the line. Seems everybody knows that Luffy won't be bouncing back as fast as we think. Even Ivankov who seem to have sneaked on with Boa knows that. It is true. The kid has gone though a lot since Impel Down and I am kind of surprise that he still standing after all of that.

Still seems like everybody is okay minus Luffy who is still passed out. I guess this was just one thing that could have been expected if there wasn't going to be a time skip of sorts. I am okay with this. As much as I like to see Luffy up and going, I would like to see what is going on in between so we don't have to deal with things like, "What happen during the time skip?" and junk like that.

Not much to say here. Nice to see that there is some sort of plan though I wonder if that would actually happen.

Still seems like the Marines are going have to do some repairing. The details of what happen at Impel Down seem really distrubing too. Blackbeard made everybody in Level 6 to fight in a cage match in order to make them be part of his crew. I think our good old Blackbeard has hit a new level of crazy. That is some crazy junk there. Then the worse part is that it seems like some of those guys in Level 6 had escaped too so we can only guess what happen to them.

Also if you look on the page where we see Sengoku there sitting on the rock, there is PwnGoat. Nice to see that he is back in action. Though seems like he missed out in the action. Aww...Poor PwnGoat.

Though here comes the kicker of the chapter...

 No more smiles for Moria...

Seems like there is something bigger going on here. Something so big that it is above Sengoku.

Now as much as I don't really like Moria, I have to admit that not even this guy deserves a beating like the one he is getting here. Still the higher powers are demanding this because apparently Moria isn't what he use to be. And these higher powers are....NO IDEA!

Well we can take a guess and have the idea that it is the World Government. The Marines have played a good size role so far in the story. So maybe the World Government would take over the next half as that big role? That means (from what we got in the last page) that they have control of the Pacfistas since they are the figurehead of this attack while Doflamingo is watching from the side. It is a valid guess if I do say so myself since it is the World Government who are higher then the Marines. Still we will have to see.

Still what a chapter to return to after the break. We have now taken the first steps that clearly as the title of the chapter say, a foreshadow. We are getting a look into the future. The last arc kind of gave us an idea of what to expect in the future but this chapter is giving us a look into that future. Still till next week when we will take another look...INTO THE FUTURE!
