One Piece More: Watch Durarara!!!

Summer...the time for beach.....sun.....anime inside a cool house.

Come on? I know majority of us are using summer time to catch up on animes that we fell behind on (that isn't One Piece). Since there is no school it is pretty easy to play catch up right now. No school work to keep you distracted from taking in the entertainment that you want. Sure makes marathoning anime pretty easy.

Or you can do normal summer things that involves getting out of the house such as volleyball, swimming, and vacationing.

Nah....anime is good.

Durarara!!! on Adult Swim

Incase you haven't heard, Durarara!!! is going to premire on Adult Swim starting this Saturday (June 25th) at 11:30pm Central time.

Personally I am very excited to see DRRR on TV since this means more exposure for the series. There is the whole 'more anime on TV' thing which is a plus but personally I am a huge DRRR fan if you haven't notice from the blog's Twitter and the Con Pieces. DRRR is a very awesome series that is bound to put you though loops and turns as you try to figure out what will happen next. It takes a while to get into the series but it has the ability to draw you in and keep you. Things are all over the place in DRRR but it is able to pull everything together very nicely.

The cast of characters are interesting even the ones such as Anri, Kida and Mikado. You have the mysterious Celty, the furious Shinzuo, the plotting Izaya and a whole crew of characters. The story is really about the characters as they are the moving force of the show. That also makes it hard for me to talk about the characters if you haven't seen DRRR before. It just means that the show is that awesome to watch.

If you liked Baccano then you will surely love Durarara!!!. This show I think was the best thing that I saw in 2010 (outside of One Piece). If you haven't seen DRRR and have the chance to catch it on Adult Swim then go for it! If you have already seen it then see it again! I have seen most of the episodes three times already and the show gets better with each watch. The dub is pretty good so you have my vote for watching it dub.

If you want to get started on Durarara!!! right now then head over to Crunchyroll where they have all the episode streaming. Just make sure to at least have to TV on when Durarara!!! come on Adult Swim at 11:30pm on Saturday nights.

Summer is here which means you have lots of time to draw something up. We take fanart of all kinds. May it be something hand drawn or digitally. We take it and will show it up here on the blog!

Summer is here. That means I have to do a lot of things or at least say that I am going to do a lot of things. What may actually get done? Who knows. The fact is that I am going to try to get things done which includes things involving this blog. Maybe at least get the anime posts to get posted on time. (No offense Sora). We see how things turns out by the end of the summer.
