The Yomi Yomi fruit basically give the user an 'extra life'. The person that eats it won't see anything different outside the inability to swim while they are alive the first time around. It is when they die that they experience the ability of the fruit. They are then revived and live as if nothing happen. Anybody who is familiar with video games would see that it is basically another life. You die and then come back to life. The only problem is that you (as a soul) have to find your body before it decomposes.
The fruit doesn't give the person immortality though. Brook has showed several instances where he claims that he can die even though half of the time he follows with "But I am already dead! Yohohohoho~". The point is that even Brook knows that he can die. The question is how.
This only leaves more 'creative' ways to kill Brook. This could include the use of SeaPrism Stones or throwing him in the ocean. The question is will he actually die from these things or actions? There has to be a way to kill a living skeleton.
Question: What (/How) are ways that Brook could die?

ReplyDeleteI see it like the fruits have one purpose. With Luffy, his fruit's purpose was "Make this boy rubber". Luffy learned to do shit like Gears but all the fruit is doing is making him rubber.
ReplyDeleteSame with Brooks. His fruit was "Bring him back to life". A body with no ability to breath or eat wouldn't be alive. The fruit brought him back to life, but but almost like little "portals" in Brook. He can eat and the food obviously doesn't go down through his mouth. It seems to vanish to the parts of his body that weren't revived in the after life. He shits it out but because the shit didn't die(Because it can't) it comes out of living Brook.
In a sense the parts of Brook's body that were decomposed are in the afterlife and still functioning there, but what could be salvaged stayed connected but alive on earth.

DeleteI don't know, maybe if you crushed the skull or broke the spine it would kill him like anyone else. But then, he doesn't really need them for the lack of organs...
