Show Me Your One Piece 2- Winners

After many hours of seclusion and consideration, the winners for Show Me Your One Piece 2 contest have been chosen. We saw many fine examples of people "showing off their One Piece" along with why they love it.

We heard tales of how One Piece touched them on a personal level while others simply said why they love the series so much. All were great entries which made it even harder to choose our winners. Still, only two people will win the One Piece: Season 4 Voyage 1 DVD set that everybody has been eyeing.

First Thoughts
I don't know how I got stuck with the episodes where people get killed. I thought Sora would have gotten these but I guess it wasn't in the cards. Too many times we had to switch weeks due to things going on in real life I guess.

Blackbeard is a prick. I really think that Blackbeard doesn't deserve the praise that people give him and this episode was a good example of this. There was certainly some awe inspiring moments but they didn't involve big old Blackbeard. This was clearly Whitebeard's episode as the guy gave it his last stand. Literally.

Figure Piece: Portrait of Pirates Tashigi

Hello readers, it's Sailorsamus again with a new One Piece figure! To give a little background, I'm a newbie One Piece fan. I've only just finished the East Blue arc in both the anime and manga, and haven't yet reached the point where Chopper joins the crew. To be more specific, the Straw Hats have just landed at Whisky Peak.

Currently, Tashigi is one of my favorite characters. I really enjoyed watching her interactions with Zoro before the crew headed for the Grand Line. When I stumbled across an online sale for the Portrait of Pirates Tashigi figure, of course I jumped at the opportunity to have a high quality figure of a favorite female character.

The Portrait of Pirates line from Megahouse has become well known for high quality and an insane release schedule.

Show Me Your One Piece- Winners

Does anybody wear one piece swimsuits in this series?

So after a month of accepting entries and hours of thinking. We finally have two winners from our 'Show Me Your One Piece' contest. I have to say this was pretty fun since we all saw One Piece merchandise that we have never seen before. You can say that there are now things on our 'want' list now. What really got me happy was the fact that people are buying the One Piece DVDs that Funimation has been releasing. Just some proof that people are buying the DVDs and want more of them.

First Thoughts
So after a bit of a break from blogging about the anime, I am back....I am sorry. I promise that Sora will be back next week.

This was some episode with the constant running around with Zoro and the pantyshots for Brook. Though I have to say that the Zoro part had something of fanservice from Perona with all the cleavage shots she was giving us. Maybe I was the only one that notice it since I like Perona but there was a good lot of them. There was enough of it where I had to conduct an 'investigation' for it. Due to the time limit, the investigation wasn't through but detectives have to do with what they are given. I can just hope that maybe in the future we can revisit Zoro's predicament in order to continue this investigation.

One Piece More: Got One Piece?

I think this is a very fitting image for this week. As millions of Americans gather around to eat tons of food to show how thankful they are for what they have and don't have, our favorite pirate crew come together to eat a lot of food as they always do. Aww...Nice nice nabe. I could go for some of that right now. Perfect to have on a cold day especially right now as winter is slowly coming to my little corner. All that food looks really yummy and now I am getting hungry which is strange since I ate dinner like an hour ago.

Still I hope everybody had a good Thanksgiving for those that live in the US. Now to other things. I say this right now...This post was suppose to be done last week. The thing is that I didn't feel like doing a More post last week and decided to enjoy a few  days off from blogging since the early release of the manga post ruin my two day break last week. Then next week there will most likely won't be a More post because I am going to be busy Friday night. This week I am just going to talk about stuff since that is what my More post are really. So sit though and enjoy.

One Piece More: Rants, Raging, and Flags

Damn! It is hard looking for images of Luffy when he is angry. you think it would be easy but it isn't. They are either too small or just all happy. Well I guess I could go screenshot hunting but really that is a bit too much work. Well for right now it is. Currently (at the time of writing this opener) it is Friday and the afternoon in the anime club. They are showing some...stuff that I don't like so I am making good use of my time right now. Yay me!

Also expect some angry Mikey-san this week. Some news disturbed me greatly and I feel that it deserves a good blog post. Originally I wasn't going to do a One Piece More post but I feel like this week something important enough happen where I should rant a lot. A good ranting is always good for you anyways.

One Piece More: Sweet Sweet Fanservice and One Month of Blogging

This is one of the images I didn't use for the last anime post. It was just another screenshot of Hancock fangirling and Luffy and the snake ignoring her. Just something I found funny.

So another week another bone. Sigh...School is getting a bit tough. I need to learn how to no cut it close with my assignments but sigh...Another thing for the to-do list right? haha Still next week is another week and that means another try in this game called Life.

So to the meat of this week's One Piece More.
