Interview Piece: Chris Ayres

So here is the first ever interview on One Piece at a Time! Exciting things here. I was a bit nervous going into this interview. I didn't know what to expect from this and was hoping that it won't be too bad. Chris (Johnny from One Piece) was a great guy to talk to and as I said before in my report on Kamikaze Con that I was able to be his guest relations person for the con. So I was able to talk to him a bit before this interview.

So this interview was done in the lobby of the hotel that KamiKaze Con was in. Congoers were going in and out in the background as I talk to Chris. Still one thing that I told myself before going into this interview is to not call him Greg and I did! My 'assistant' for the interview told me that I called him that three times. I don't believe I did that. Still Chris was cool and didn't mind and because of that we got a great interview.

Anime: Impel Down Arc- Episode 444

First Thoughts
I usually have trouble remembering the episode number. Still this week I had no problem with that since it was just a single number typed three times. So that is good. haha I now know that my memory isn't that bad. Yet...

What can I say about this episode right now? It was just so funny whenever we were focus on the antics of Luffy and the group he is with. I mean do I have to say it? Ivankov was one of the main reasons why I laughed so hard in this episode. Still we got a good round of cool things in this episode too like Buggy and Mr. 3 being cool. So it was a great episode overall.

Con Piece: Going KamiKaze Con! Part 2!

Ahh....Voice Actor love. No other purer love then that. Or was that something else? I don't remember.

So here is the second part of my coverage of KamiKaze Con, the little con that could. Got to say that this con really let me get close to the VAs since it was so small. I mean I was able to take a picture of Chris and Sammi hugging though I don't think they knew I took this picture. Either way there were some good moments involving some of the VAs here. An example of one was us trying to fill up Chris's big orange cup with ice. Apparently it was too big to fit in the ice machine on one of the hotel floors. So I got my plastic folder and bent it a bit so it would funnel the ice into the cup. That was fun and now I got a great con story involving a VA, volunteering and cosplaying as Yuki.

Con Piece: Going KamiKaze Con! Part One!

What a con! It is Kamikaze Con! The con where all your dreams can come true! A place where you can get up close and personal with your favorite voice actors and actress! That is how this con was because it was just such a small convention. 

Really, this was a kind of small convention. I went to this convention last year and it was small too but for some reason it felt like it was smaller then last year. I didn't see that many cosplayers and the rooms for the panels weren't full. It was kind of lame but overall I think it was cool since it allowed the voice actors to get even more up close and personal with the fans. So that was cool which made my job as a blogger even easier and cooler. 

One thing that kind of annoyed me was that it didn't felt like we were going to a con till the day we got there. Usually you can feel excited about going to a con a few days in advance but I couldn't feel it for this one. I go into detail later in this the coverage of this convention.

Thoughts
The image above is the awesome image of the week. I was going to use this image in the body of the post but really it was just too awesome not to use it for the opening image. (Also I didn't want to repeat the opening image I had originally in the post itself)

Which the episode itself was just awesome! I mean the recap had basically most of what the last minute from from the episode before which I really enjoyed. Then the ball got rolling from there as we got more and more awesome to make this a great episode. I really want to say this was the best episode we got from Impel Down but I think I said that before. I am not sure. haha There is no words that I can use to describe this episode at the moment so let just go on to the next part of this post!

First Thoughts
I promise that next week's opening image won't have Ivankov in it. Then again maybe I shouldn't promise that since I think it will. haha

This was a great episode! I loved it! It had everything that I wanted and more. I admit that I got a bit scared since it was looking like a certain character that I expected wasn't going to be in there but in the end he was there. So that was cool. Then we got some good moments in this episode that I think was filler but I am not sure. It was good filler though for the most part. This episode was fast moving and is leading up to something really big. If anything that what the last few minutes showed us. Also I am not saying that because I loved the last few minutes the most out of this episode. I really do mean that.

One Piece More: Sogeking says, "Real Men Can Cry Too"

Do you know why I like Sogeking? I don't know really. Maybe because he is like Batman and I like Batman. Maybe because he is Usopp? Both Batman and Sogeking are masked heroes that fight for good and are awesome beyond belief. They have so many cool gadgets. To tell the truth they are just awesome. If anything then Usopp is the Bruce Wayne of the One Piece world minus the high tech gadgets. Or the money. Or the car. Or the secret identity. Or...Well you get the point. They are just awesome people with mask!

First Thoughts
Well this was a great episode. I really did like all the moments with Ivankov and Luffy. Those were some great times. This episode gave me a lot of things that I wanted to see like Dragon appearing in the flashback and Luffy finally being up and going. Still this episode seem to just build up upon everything else that was set up from the last episode as I think we are moving to what other people would call the climax.  Things are moving on a thin wire as we see Magellan getting ready to transport Ace while Luffy, Ivankov and Inazuma race to beat Magellan.

First Thoughts
This was an awesome episode! I really think that the ending of this episode and some small things made this an episode great. I mean a lot of the same thing happen in this episode when you think about it but it really was able to shine a lot.

This feels like a very lacking 'First Thoughts'. I think it is because I am sick or something. That or I just don't have much to say about this episode. It threw a lot out at us but beside some dialog that could be important later the was about it.
