Manga: Chapter 618 (SPOILERS)

This week's chapter opens right where the last one left off; Princess Shirahoshi has been discovered! Oh noes! Everyone is yelling at Luffy, thinking that he kidnapped her, but of course we know the truth. Sanji realises that the Princess hes been long awaiting to see is behind him but Chopper warns him that he could die of (perverted) blood loss but Sanji is willing to take that chance since its his "dream"....wrong Sanji. Its the All Blue :P. Sanji turns around and manages to finally feast his eyes on the beautiful princess (who is bawling her eyes out by the way) but...he turns to stone (does Shirahoshi secretly have some of Hancock's devil fruit power? XD), Chopper realises that this different reaction may be due to the Okama blood now in Sanji's bloodstream. At the same time, Luffy finds Hachi and asks who injured him, the bystanders around them manage to tie them all up, Shirahoshi tries to explain how Luffy was just trying to help her but they don't listen. Suddenly, something or someone from the distance is flying towards them and it turns out to be...Vander Decken! Oh noes! D:

 Princess or not, at least she has her priorities straight

Vander Decken (yet again) tries to get her to marry him, but whats the reason she won't do it? He is simply not her type.....huh. Decken of course does not take rejection well and proceeds to try and kill her, the bystanders tell her to run away but Luffy says not to since he won't be able to protect her if shes too far away. She accepts but the crowd isn't happy, Luffy has no choice but to use Haki to knock them out so they don't get in the way and Luffy springs up (hes still tied up by the way) and smashes the coral Decken was riding. Luffy wraps his legs around Decken and takes him down with a JET HAMMER! Luffy wakes up Megalo and Sanji (having somehow turned back to normal) is stull unconcious, Luffy tells Shirahoshi that they need to leave quickly and she unties him. The crowd is confused but all she tells them that they'll be back in time for dinner and they all zoom away on Megalo. However Decken is still concious and vows that they won't get away, he summons Wadatsu (in attack mode) but Luffy is ready and punches him in the tooth with a JET PISTOL! Next stop: the Sea Forest!

Meanwhile at  Ryuuguu Palace, a woman and a mermaid managed to escape from the palace but Hodi tells them to ignore them and of course it turns out to be Nami and Keimi, Keimi is concerned about Zoro and the others but Nami says not to worry about them. Nami also asks about Jinbei and Keimi says how he has enough authority to enter the Palace and Nami remembers how Jinbei was part of Arlong's crew. She also understands the message to Luffy about him not fighting Hodi and she plans on meeting Jinbei since there has to be a deep history about this situation and just like where Luffy and Shirahoshi are going, Nami is now also  planning to go to the Sea Forest. Back inside the Palace, the Royal Soldiers prepare to attack but King Neptune holds them off and orders them to surrender and reunite with Prince Fukaboshi since the situation looks dire. Meanwhile underwater Hodi and Zoro prepare to fight, Usopp doesn't have much confidence since Hodi would have the advantage underwater, but to everyones surprise Zoro manages to cut Hodi with one slash, thus ending our chapter with yet another badass moment from Zoro.

 ....DAMN. Just....DAMN O_O

So what did I think of this chapter? There were some HILARIOUS moments from Sanji and Fukaboshi, Luffy and Zoro were badass as usual and it seems the Sea Forest may very well tie some of our heroes objectives together. But also as usual there are questions; what will Vander Decken plan next? What is the true meaning behind Hodi's hatred of humans? Is Hodi down for the count? Find out next time on ONE PIECE!
