Happy New Year One Piece Fans. I'm Roger. We finally wrap up 2014 and put a nice bow on it, time to look back and see just how far we have come (or haven't come for that matter). We have a whole years worth of events to discuss, so let's get to it.

WARNING: This may contain spoilers for anime only One Piece fans.

How To Fix One Piece: 4Kids English Opening

Many people aren't happy with the 4Kids dub of one piece. The biggest gripe most people have is that they changed the original theme song. Here's my solution to the problem.

Roger’s List: Top 10 Fights of One Piece (Part 2)

Roger's List has returned...with fierce conviction.

And welcome back. Last time I, Roger, took you on an adventure cataloging some of the greatest fights that have thus far occurred throughout One Piece. As I look back, I noticed that many of those fights had powerful emotions behind them (ideals of justice/ the loss of a son, best friends feuding) that helped carry them to greatness. Today, that won’t be so much the case. Today, it’s all about the hardest hits, bloodiest brawls, most monumental mind crushes, and the all-or-nothing throwdowns. These fights kick your ass a thousand times over. So enough stalling. Let’s get to it. Here is the Top 5.

Interview Piece: Clint Bickham (Part 2 + Bonus)

We finally conclude our interview with Clint Bickham, scriptwriter for Funimation's One Piece. He is not only a writer for the series but a huge fan.

In this part of the interview, we talk about the scriptwriting process for One Piece. We even talk about some of Clint's favorite parts in the upcoming season of One Piece.

Things to note: This interview was taken during the April of 2012. So some things may be out of date. You can read the first part of this interview here.

News Piece: Season 4 is Coming

Well guys it's finally happening, the awesome guys at the Unofficial One Piece Podcast have officially announced via a well marketed podcast special, that Season 4 has been officially licensed by Funimation. For those of you who don't know, Season 4 contains portions of several story arcs. The Davy Back Fight arc pits the Straw Hats in a series of challenges against the Foxy Pirates. the Ocean's Dream arc based on a One Piece videogame in which the Straw Hats lose their memories work together to regain them.

The very popular Water 7 arc largely featured in Season 4 depicts the Straw Hats in some of their worst hours. It practically has some of the most important and darkest moments in the entire history of One Piece in my own personal opinion. But in terms of overall narrative, it introduces the future shipwright of the Straw Hat Pirates, Franky.

I'm absolutely excited about this. Water 7 is one of my favorite arcs and hearing it in dubbed English will be an amazing experience. The prospect of the Funi voice actors speaking these famous lines makes me quiver. By the way, Funimation seemed to have licensed 58 episodes so far, but considering the fact that this arc is so popular, and the fact that apparently unlike the Japanese DVDs, these are in widescreen and HD. That alone is going to pave the road for Season 5. Funimation haven't stated a release date but my guess is going to be the summer of 2012 or possibly the fall.

So now that I've said my piece, what are your thoughts on Funimation finally giving the fans what they want? Please post your comments below and let's just sit back and enjoy, knowing that Patrick Seitz may be voicing Franky like in the Unlimited Adventure game. It will be great.

Question Corner: Does Funimation have the right to seek legal action against consumers?

Recently Funimation has filed a lawsuit against US BitTorrent users for possession and distribution of One Piece Episode 481. This comes right after the incident involving the anime Fractale where the Japanese production company had temporary denied Funimation the right to stream it after concerns of illegal distribution of the show. Take a read at the news report after the break.

One Piece More: Do We Ever Talk About One Piece Here?

So summer is finally over and by now everybody should be back to the grind of school. May you be rushing to finish last minute assignments or just being the good student by getting your assignments done in time. It seems like the dogdays of summer have clearly ended as the days become cooler and autumn is beginning to set in if you live in the northern hemisphere. The ones in the southern part of the world I am guessing things are getting hotter and I wish I could be there because I surely hate the cold. Still for the ones that are starting school then I wish you all to stay strong because we need to live in a strong world as both One Piece fans and people.

One Piece More: Shonen Jump Into the Manga!

Well I was hoping that my first post of the year would be of something like the anime of manga but really there isn't much in the One Piece world right now concerning the anime and manga. Well that last part is a lie. There is plenty happening in the manga side which is where this post is mostly going to focus. I'll go into other things but really I let you guys read on.

Also if you haven't found out. There is no new One Piece chapter this week from Japan. Weekly Jump is still on break this week so that means Oda, Luffy and the rest of the One Piece crew will be resting up and relaxing. So we will have to wait to see what happen to the rest of our favorite band of pirates and Marines.

Then the anime is back on starting today starting off right where it stopped two weeks ago. Just got done watching it before this post and it was a great episode! Expect an anime post to be up later.

One Piece More: I Want a Teddy Zoro to Hug Too

So another week another week. Boy am I tired! I am so glad there wasn't a new manga chapter because I wouldn't have been up for it. Well I still did a post but it was more like me asking a lot of stupid questions. haha. Still it was cool. The post got retreeted on Twitter by OtakuPride and supposedly seen by over 400 people! THAT IS AWESOME! I am kind of awestruck by that but ok. Very cool.

Still good thing there wasn't a manga chapter this week. Still there is a lot of things in this More post to make it very long. Just bare with it. I got a lot of interesting things in this post that I think are worth reading.
