First Thoughts 
OH MY GOSH! I was smiling so much in the first half of this episode! Just seeing Luffy and Ace together made me so happy. Everything about the first half of the episode was perfect and I enjoyed every moment of it! This was the best way to end the year for One Piece. I felt tears of happiness after watching last week's episode and that happy feeling continue on from the first moment when I saw Ace and Luffy (with Mr. 3) floating in the air in the tunnel of flames.

First Thoughts
The other title for this episode was going to be "How to be a Douche by Borsalino 'Kizaru'". Damn that Kizaru. He is such a damn troll. How much of a loser must you be to attack a man when he is down and can't attack back. What a damn loser...I go more into it later.

This episode was kind of slow really. The filler parts were bad and the action parts were slow. It felt forever to get though at some parts and clearly you can see where they were padding out the episode with long drawn out scenes. Not as bad as it was with Hancock's daydream from a few episodes back but still a bit painful to watch.

First Thoughts

If (by self proclamation) last episode (472) was the best of the year, then this episode is surely within the top 5, if not in second place for the title. It was beautifully done, wonderfully drawn, the scenes went quickly and smoothly, the action was well done, it was surprising and terrifying, awesome and amazing, and it just plain kicked Beep. Oh yeah. I loved what everybody’s actions where, and what each of them separately did/how they reacted in the episode. Gorgeous scenes.

First Thoughts

Sora here. I'm taking over this week, and probably switching on-off with Mikey again. Ooh, that gives me the Halloween episode! Sweet.

I really liked how this episode played out, and what they managed to fit in there at the ending surprised me. There was a lot of action, which kinda stalled for Luffy again, but still they zoomed on a lot of really interesting battles. For instance, Vista and Mihawk’s battle was again brought up, although nothing of important consequence occurred.

At the end of the episode though, I think that Ace about near had a fit. Heck, I was shocked, and I already knew what was coming! Yeah, it was rather…interesting, to say.
