Thoughts
Maybe one day you get those hind legs back Luffy.

This chapter was everything that I wanted two weeks ago. It showed us what would happen to Nami's group after the body swap and the ensuing hilarity. We got Sanji groping Nami's body while Chopper acts childishly in Sanji's body. Nobody would have ever thought of that.

You have to give Oda respect for making good use of each character's eyes. Have you ever heard the saying, "The eyes are a window to a person's soul?" because it held true in this chapter. Chopper gave Sanji a wide-eyed expression. If you look at Franky's eyes, you can see a glimmer of Nami. They look rather feminine with a shine that you normally see in her.

It is amazing how Oda was able to transfer the expressions of the characters into other bodies. I was in awe as I stared at each page featuring the bodyswapped Straw Hats.

The chapter provided some insight into Law's ability. As seen with Tashigi (in Smoker's body) it is possible for a body to move if its’ heart was removed by Law's ability. It makes sense based on what we have seen in the past. If you remember that in Sabaody, the Marines' body parts were still able to feel and move once they were disassembled by Law.

The 'Heart' that Law pulls out is the soul of that person. Nothing is untouchable on Law's operating table. Imagine Law swapping personality traits such as Luffy's bravery with Usopp's cowardice.

Either way, Smoker is not in a good position.

The chapter finally ends revealing the name of the 'Master'. It looks as if I was right about his past with Vegapunk many years ago and he sounds rather disgruntled. With the way Smoker describes him, I would have to say that Caesar must be widely despised. I guess that the World Government didn't approve of his methods of mass destruction and that Caesar didn't leave on favorable terms.

Law however is simply upset with Caesar. This must have something to do with the giant children that were with Nami's group. He looked surprised to see them come out of his 'summer home'. Caesar is clearly hiding something from Law and the Warlord does not like this. It will be interesting to see what happens next week. I am hoping we learn more of the mystery of Punk Hazard and the 'Authority on Weapons of Mass Murder'.

Until next time true believers!

  1. This chapter was indeed a lot of fun. And nice call pointing out the eyes. I noticed that too.

Of course the one thing I'm worried about is why Nami and Tashigi would let their respective switchees violate their precious lungs with their hanis smocking habits.

I guess we'll still have to wait a bit longer before we truly discover what Ceaser Clown really is and what exactly his motives are. In my opinion, that's the only thing that's really dragging this arc so far.

    1. I am not sure about how Tashigi would feel about it but I would think that Nami would be a bit more reluctant. Those things can really affect her beauty. I do not think that she would want that. Still, I hope that the smoking does come back and bit Sanji later on either in battle (incase he has to fight in Nami's body) or when they switch back.

Yeah. They want to keep Ceaser's motives a secret which I hope is well worth it unlike a certain fishman's that should remain nameless.
