One Piece More: Casting Our Pieces

Cake is nice. It isn't a lie. Cake is sweet and tasty. Each piece of cake is another bite into fluffy heaven and sweetness. Sometimes the icing is too sweet and other times there is too much of it. There is also so many different flavors of cake too. There is vanilla, strawberries, and chocolate. Still cake is like a work of art. They can be plain but there are also some that are elaborate and nice. Cake can be used to celebrate many different things like the blissful union of two people, the celebration of a glorious event or the most famous use of the cake: birthdays.

Today I shall be enjoying a birthday cake due to it being my birthday. haha A cake as big as the one Sanji and Nami is making would be nice but I am content with the one that I have right now.

Anime: Marineford Arc- Episode 459

Be one of many! Watch One Piece only at OnePieceOfficial.com!

First Thoughts
Here we are. The main HQ of the Marines. The place where the best of the best Marines gather. We have only seen bits of Marineford like from the time where Luffy receive his first bounty and recently as we watch Sengoku prepare for the execution of Ace.

Still this episode marks not only the beginning of possibly one of the most epic story arcs in One Piece but the premiere of Opening 13, One Day. A very fitting opening seeing that all the things that we see happening here only happen in one day. If you have friends that been out of One Piece for a while then this is the time to get them back in. Tell them to watch Episode 457 and 458 so they will get a small recap of the events that are important to know for this arc and then get them started on this episode. After that, hang in for the ride of your life as we watch the epic events of this arc unfold in just one day.

Mikey's Note: This post is very image heavy due the amount of screencaps taken from the Opening 13.

Anime: Special Retrospective Pre Marineford Arc- Episode 458

How dare you not go over to OnePieceOfficial.com and see this episode!

First Thoughts
Well, to put it bluntly, I wasn’t expecting much, but I surprised myself by really enjoying this episode. It was another collection of flashbacks like last episode, but this one had more current involvement and actually had people doing things other than flashbacks the whole time.

I was hopeful for some flashbacks on battle scenes with Strawhats, and I wanted to see the Admirals a bit more as well. Also, I was interested in what they would show for DoFlamingo and Akainu, as they are the only people there who have yet to get involved in some way with any member of Luffy’s crew.

One Piece More: Who Wants Free Stuff?

I sure hope I haven't used this image.

Still we are now in July. This is my favorite month of the year or maybe it be best to say one of my favorite months. The weather is hot but it sure better then being cold. We have fireworks because of the Fourth of July in America. Long days due to the sun not setting and longer sunsets. Now this is the things that summer dreams are made of! What kid doesn't imagine running in the hours of summer popping fireworks while enjoying an ice cream with their friends? Sounds like the perfect holiday. Still I am not a kid and I don't enjoy all of these things but it sure is nice to dream. Though maybe I just like July because my birthday falls during this month. haha

On blog side there been a few things going on. Though one things to note is that around this time of last year was when I first thought up of doing a One Piece blog. Not sure if I told the whole story but I was inspire by somebody else who was blogging shojo series like Shugo Chara. The only thing that was stopping me was that I was interning that summer and wasn't sure if I would be up to blogging. Still I am sure you guys can piece together what happen seeing that this blog didn't get started until the last day of August. haha Lame right? Though time to get into this!

Anime: No New Episode This Week

Yes, we all want Luffy. So, we get him back next week here. Yay!

Hello, Sora here bringing all of you many, many viewers out there the sad news that there will *sob* be NO new One Piece episode this week. Dang, and just as we were about to get into the real action too. However, our very reliable resources over at Viz informed us that One Piece will resume as scheduled next Saturday the 11th of July, thankfully. Hey, I just thought of something funny. Perhaps they are taking the U.S.A.’s Fourth of July weekend off, haha! No, we Americans who celebrate random holidays are actually NOT as special as think we are (fortunately) and the break is for the World Cup, so I’ve heard.
