Anime: No New Episode

Though there is no new episode this week! This is all because there is some sort of special programming happening during the time slot for One Piece. Suppose to be something special or such that isn't One Piece.

Mikey-san: Though last week's episode was pretty strong as it revealed something huge within the One Piece world. Something that everybody took as common knowledge was blown up. Everybody thought that Dragon was Ace's father but it turns out that the blood of the former King of the Pirates, Gol D. Roger, is actually his father. This revelation is something big since it took back something that we always thought was true. Though we were never told that Ace was Dragon's son but we always thought he was since we thought that Luffy was related to Ace by blood. Now we not even sure about that.

Next episode looks fierce as we are going to get more backstory on how Ace fell into the hands of Garp. Seems like the little flashback that we got in last week's chapter was only the tip of the iceberg since the preview is proving that there was more to this meeting. Though I am thinking that will last half of the episode while the other half will lead up to what will be appearance of the mighty Whitebeard and his assembly of powerful pirates. Powerful people on both sides can only lead to something crazy. 

Superneku: Even though its only been one episode for this arc shown so far, I'm confident that Toei will be able to capture the heart of the action, plot and characterization as shown in the manga very well. After all they seem to be preparing their own forces for this big arc by updating their website and releasing more merchandise. Not to mention that they started this with a great opening.

This upcoming episode may reveal more of the conversation between Garp and Roger than what was shown in the manga does seem interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing the Whitebeard Pirates land at Marineford. Really not much else to say except I hope the biggest events will be animated greatly. I'll finish this quick thoughts with a message to the anime fans, last weeks episode may have been quite a bombshell for you guys, but the best is yet to come...

 Mikey-san: The Marineford arc has just began and we have already gotten a major event happening. Just imagine what will be coming down later as we know that Oda doesn't fail to impress.
