Roger's List: Top 5 Worst Intances of One Piece Filler

Sure. Let's kill time by watching Luffy and Law get in a fist fight for no reason. Why not.

Hello everyone and welcome to yet another addition of Roger's List.

Fillers, the unavoidable imperfection of any Shonen anime series. We all know the reason for them: if the animators catch up too close to the current manga storyline, they need to create a non canon story that will last a few episodes to buy time for the official story to play out. Sometimes in the case of One Piece, this has resulted in some intriguing sidetracks and a unique take on this world and it's characters. One in particular that comes to mind is the Navarone Arc starring one of the greatest non-canon characters ever, Vice Admiral Johnathan. However other times, specifically the ones we will be discussing today, come off as borderline trolling at best, to downright groan worthy and a complete waste of our time at worst. So let's get this over with. This is Rogers Top 5 Worst Instances of One Piece Filler.

Roger's List: Top 5 Dumbest Strawhat Moments of One Piece

"Okay, Okay! I'm Back. I swear."

Hey guys, sorry for the hiatus. Extraneous circumstances have left me without sustainable internet for the last few months. But now that I'm up and running again, let's not waist any more time. Roger's List has officially returned.

I'm sure we are all well aware that One Piece, as brilliant of a story as it may be, is choc full of characters doing inexcusably stupid things. That goes double for our main protagonists. In fact, half the conflicts our heroes run into seem to originate from them making complete idiots of themselves. But which moments exactly are the dumbest of the dumb. That's what I'm here to decide. This is...

Roger's List: Top 5 Opening Themes of One Piece

What are the best of the BEST? That's what Roger's here to tell you.

Ahoy fellow readers. Roger here. It's been a busy summer so far, but I finally found some cruse time to give you all another list. For those of you out there actually taking some time off this summer, time to kick back, take in the sun, and enjoy some sweet tunes on the best album there is, the One Piece album. How do I know it's the best? Well, because it is quite literally titled "BEST ALBUM." For any other anime series, this would probably be pushing it, but not One Piece.

Let's not sugar code things, this music is amazing. From the opening themes to the ending themes, to the background scores, and even the songs the characters sing in the actual show, the music of One Piece perfectly captures and enriches the heart and spirit of adventure that the anime has brought to it's viewers for the past 15 years. Today we will be focusing strictly on the Opening Themes, the songs that get you pumped and ready to watch some One Piece right from the get go. For many, all 17 of the shows current opening music numbers are amazing songs in and of themselves, but which ones of them are truly the best? I'm here to chime in with my 2 cents berries.

This is Roger's Top 5 Opening Theme's of One Piece.

Roger's Declassified Anime con Survival Guide

Oh, the good ol days of Dressrosa before Bird Cage happened.
Welcome everyone. I'm Roger, and we're back with another segment of Roger's List. Last month, I gave my scoop of all my ins and outs at my first anime convention. Today, I would like to go over a compiled list of things I've learned and some pieces of advice that I would like to give to anyone attending these in the future. Of course I'm not the kind to tell people what they should and shouldn't do. After all, there are really no rules at an anime convention (besides the obvious: be polite, don't bring real weapons, get your hand stamped before you go to mature panels, etc.) so in keeping with my pirate lifestyle, think of these more like guidelines than actual rules.

Here is my list of ways to make your convention experience as enjoyable as possible.

Adventures in Sakura-Con 2014 (With Roger)

Sakura-Con 2014: Where even the greatest rivalries can be suspended...for a while.

Hello everyone. Roger here, and I am finally back from Seattle, Washington. What a weekend! For starters, yes this was my very first anime convention, and not only did I live to tell the tale, I may have just established a new yearly tradition for myself. I met a ton of new and awesome people, ran into a few acquaintances, and hey, who doesn't enjoy being in a crowded convention center surrounded by thousands of others who share your passion. So without further ado...

Roger's List: Top 5 Plot Holes of One Piece

Sometimes, things just don't add up. Like this hilarious anime screw-up.

Welcome everyone to a brand new year! And with a new year, Roger's List has returned, with your host, Me. Roger himself.

You know, for a manga/anime series that has been going on for seventeen years now, One Piece has done a pretty swell job of keeping its story tight and consistent. How Mr. Oda manages to keep all his facts, character history, and plot threads so accurate and well interwoven with one another is a mystery.
