Manga: Chapter 736 (Spoilers)

SPOILERS

Don't be shock! We all know Weekly Shonen Jump is great to read One Piece!

Summary
The final match in the tournament has started with Diamante, Mystery Man Sabo, Rebecca and Bartolomeo.

Lightning Solider encounters Lao G. in the elevator.

Team Luffy sneaks into the palace but are intercepted by Pica.

Doflamingo receives word that Luffy is causing trouble within the palace.

Thoughts
What is better? Doflamingo's face or the face that we still can't see Sabo's face.

It has only been a few chapters since I had expressed my want to see Doflamingo's upset face but we got it. It was pretty sweet to see Doflamingo get an outburst like that. upon finding out that he was incorrect about his assumptions. We are beginning to see his plans unravel before his eyes as one of the things he thought was secure has backfired. Now, Luffy is running wild in his own palace as an imposture is fighting one of his elite officers. I can't wait to see his reaction upon discovering that two of the Straw Hats are in his factory.

It is interesting to note that we are getting some vague pairings. We have Diamante at the coliseum to face off against Bartolomeo, Rebecca and Sabo. This will be a good test of Sabo's strength and see if it has diminish since his accident. Please note that he was almost as strong as Ace when they where boys.

We have Trebol in the factory who will eventually come face-to-face with Usopp, Robin and the Tontattas. This will be interesting as it has a pairing that is rather unique and a high importance fight that is usually reserve for Sanji. Now that one part of the Monster Trio is off at sea, we will see how much stronger Usopp has gotten and if he will live up to his Usoppland lies.

Lastly, we have Pica who has confronted Luffy, Kinemon, Violet and Zoro. Doflamingo is going to hope that this will be enough to stop Luffy. What will most likely happen is that Zoro and Kinemon will be left behind to allow Luffy and Violet to advance.

After this, all that is left is Senior Pink and the rest of the Doflaming underlings which may end up being handled by Franky who was a distraction this whole time.

Speaking of Diamante, he has an interesting power. Diamante can manipulate anything he touches to give it an ripple effect. Oda comes up with many unique abilities that I would have never thought this was possible. This man is able to wear a sheet of hard steel as a cape while keeping it's durability. Steel is this man's play thing as he can use his ability to make it like liquid and then reform it to whatever he needs then harden it to attack or defend. This may end up making him quite difficult to beat if he can defend and attack on the dot with the fighting fish getting in the way.

Something to think about. The winner is the one who is the last one standing. This means that even if one of the contestants does take the Flame-Flame Fruit from the Fighting Fish then it doesn't mean they win. They may not even gain an advantage by eating the fruit on the spot. Diamante is actually at an advantage as he doesn't have to fight or look for the fruit. He just needs to keep himself from being hurt by his opponents and the Fighting Fish.

This chapter was nice because Doflamingo's reaction to Luffy being out of the tournament. I am expecting to see this face more often to various degrees of shock and anger as we see how wrong he was to underestimate the Straw Hats. I guess he got a little too cocky in his planning and is going to pay for it. The battle at the coliseum is going to be interesting but insane with so many thing going on between six forces. Then, lets not even think about what stupidity Luffy has planned for Doflaminigo.

It is a rumble in Dressrosa and things are going to go down. This chapter was the first domino in the action that we are about to see involving the plot at Dressrosa.

Until next time, true believers!
