Manga: Chapter 593 (SPOILERS!)

SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS!
You too can get these feelings from reading One Piece. Just buy the manga from Viz!

The gears of faith are turning. We have finally seeing how the rest of the StrawHats are doing now that we have seen how Robin and Sanji are doing but now we are also seeing other people in the world of One Piece and how they are responding to the news of Luffy. Interesting sounding stuff we are getting but nothing solid. Kind of annoying but still a good chapter. We were able to get the many faces of Sanji as you can see above which was pretty cool.

One good thing about this chapter is that we got updates from some of our favorite characters from the Marineford arc like Crocodile. It seems like the old sand croc is making plans to head into the New World with Das Bones. Though it looks like we are not the only ones worrying about the current mental well being of Luffy since Das Bones was wondering if Luffy's 'wounds' have healed. Though maybe Luffy's physical wounds have in a way but most likely his mental ones are still in need of help. Then again maybe he is mostly there seeing that he has done something that has gotten the world a buzz about him.
"Yeah, he disappeared after the war, but then suddenly reappeared and pulled of that big stunt!"
-Random Revolutionary #4
So Luffy is up to something due to what Raleigh had said. He has done something huge which surely has gotten the eye of the world. The thing is that we don't know what it is. Still it seems like everybody surely know what Luffy has done.

I am so glad that we get to see Robin again. Her body is a sight for sore eyes but that isn't what made me happy to see her! That wonderful smile was worth the long wait and glad to see that she is so eager to go back to see her crew. The Revolutionary Solider gave Robin the chance to meet the head of the Revolutionaries, Luffy's dad, the man that could provide Robin a boatload of information but she decides to turn down the chance in order to head back and see her friends. Now that was kind of touching.

"The Light of Revolution". Is that what the Revolutionaries call Robin? I am guessing that Dragon was inspire a bit by the events that happen on Ohara.

Have I mention that the Celestial Dragons are idiots? Well here is more proof since I have a good feeling that this bridge is just being built on by a whim of these idiots. Clearly they just said to make this bridge and they did it.

Though the Revolutionaries were able to give us some information which I think will help dispel the rumor that Luffy got a new bounty. One of them had mention that Luffy had did something after his disappearance from the Battle of Marineford.

Still whatever Luffy did, it seems like Robin found it funny. haha

Seems like once again that Sanji's wanted poster is causing him trouble since not even Ivankov can recognize him based on it. Not the first time but surely this time it is not wanted since I remembering hearing people saying that Ivankov will help Sanji off Peachy Island which doesn't seem like it. Though it looks like Sanji was wearing that dress for some reason and the return of either Ivankov or seeing what happen to Luffy at Marineford has snapped him back to his old self. Welcome back Sanji because everybody was complaining about what had happen to you.
"Why so much piercing conflict?!"
-Ivankov
When Ivankov had said that, I was thinking that he was going to pull out the Emporio Female Hormones on Sanji and make him into a woman thus 'solving' this conflict in a comical way. haha I would totally be okay with this and get a huge laugh out of it. It be interesting to see a female Sanji wearing his suit that would be very baggy on her. Still it wasn't meant to be since Ivankov thought it was better to question Sanji and where he came from thinking he was a member of the government.

So it seems like Sanji is going to be stuck on Peachy Island for a while and it seems like the okama on the island  are going to have some fun with him since if you notice that in the background where Inazuma and Ivankov were talking that there was a mob of them running in what I thin was the direction where Sanji was. Though I hope they won't do anything to the guy since it seems like Sanji is trying to figure out the intentions of whatever Luffy just did but then again there is that one guy with the ax.

This doesn't look too good

Then the burning question was answered as we see how Sunny is doing. Seems like Duval and his guys are taking good care of it while Shakky, Hatchin and Camie are just watching. Shakky doesn't seem to be worry about Kuma being there since he seems to be friends with Raleigh but apparently she doesn't know that Kuma has lost his free will. Still based on what she said, Shakky seem to be questioning Kuma's condition. I hope that maybe there is something in Kuma that will keep him from attacking. If not then let hope that Sunny will be okay because right now it seems like our journey to Fishman Island will be postpone...again.

Then another face that I have been wanting to see for a long while. It is nice to see that Buggy has been reunited with his crew and has gotten even more crewmates as in the likes of the band of followers from Impel Down and Mr. 3. Wish to know how they found Buggy's crew but that is something for later. Though the ex-prisoners seem be taking a liking to Buggy's crew as they have already recognize Cabaji and Mohji as powerful people. So I wonder how things will go later when the illusion of Buggy and his henchmen are actually not as strong as they think.

This chapter was filled with teases. Either we were being teased about what Luffy did or what and why Kuma is at Sabaody or with the last one with the letter from the World Government addressed to Buggy. Then there was the scene jumping which I am not a fan of but that is just me. Though we were able to get a lot of information as in the idea that most likely Luffy did something based on what Raleigh said to him back at Amazon Lily. Since one of the Revolutionaries said that he did something so that kind of knock down the idea of Luffy's bounty raising. Then again maybe that is one of the things that happen next to Luffy doing something crazy.
"Stylish? Nah, I guess not. But it's Luffy."
-Vivi
Heck, I though it a crazy idea. Raleigh found Bon Clay and got Bon Clay to transform into Luffy and cause some trouble. That will then make the comment that Vivi made somewhat sense because I doubt Luffy wearing a yellow vest can warrant that comment. Then again I have been wrong before and surely will be wrong again.

Still this chapter felt like everybody knew a secret and we were the only ones that didn't know and nobody wants to tell us what the secret is. Well this sucks. haha Everytime we came close to finding out one of the things that was being teased at, we get pulled over to something else thus the secret that everybody knows remains a secret. Rumors are flying right now about a possible jump in Luffy's bounty and maybe Buggy recieving an invitation from the World Government to become a Warlord. Based on what the Revolutionaries said I am not thinking it is a new bounty. Though I am siding with the idea of Buggy getting an invitation to join the Warlords. That may solve his future problem of the ex-prisoners finding out that Buggy isn't as powerful as he seems.

Hopefully next week we will be filled in with this secret because I am sure that everybody wishes to know it.

  1. Have a feeling the World Goverments message to Buggy is asking him to become a shichibukai compounding the problem. If he becomes one, it will only be a matter of time before it shows how weak he is, and if he turns them down, then sure he will be "Just to powerful and has sights on being a Yonkou or something to get a huge bounty on his head.

Heh he did it to himself.

Oh I see. Well my reasoning why it could solve Buggy's problem is because it just gives him an excuse to drop the ex-prisoners that he has gotten. Though I doubt he will but I can see what you are saying. His cowardice will be his downfall. If anything then turning them down will only prolong the problem for much longer.

Damn....Who knew we would be talking about Buggy having the chance to be a Warlord based all the way back during the Buggy arc. haha
