Manga: The New World is almost here...

 SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS!
Recall the outstanding voyage of Paradise by the Straw Hat Pirates...
Superneku: Its been a while everyone, how have you all been? No doubt that you guys have been waiting anxiously for Monkey D Luffy and his crew to set sail again after a 4 week break. Well we won't be waiting much longer as next week, One Piece will return to Weekly Shonen Jump and shall be better than ever before in a brand new 24 page chapter, which shall begin the New World Arc.

What's there to be excited about after 4 weeks of no manga chapters? Well the biggest and most important aspect that everybody is looking forward to is the fact that the series will be taking place 2 years after chapter 597. Every single One Piece fan is debating how much the setting will change, how much the character's appearances, strengths and personalities change and how much the main storyline will change to revolve around the New Pirate Age where more dangerous foes, islands and undiscovered devil fruit users will be prowling all over.

Part of the reason I got into One Piece in the first place was Eiichiro Oda's unique character design. I absolutely adore all the hard work and effort which is put into the artwork. So naturally, the updated character designs for slightly older versions of the characters we've all come to love after all these years  as well as the brand new characters and settings that we'll get to see over the course of the rest of the series is the aspect that I myself am looking forward to the most once this chapter is released.

Mikey: First off I was hoping we wouldn't get a long time skip. Maybe one year tops or something like that. I am not much of a fan of time skips since it just feels strange then again the only experience I have with time skips is the one with Naruto but I think the fillers killed that show for me. Though it is hard to believe that after a month long manga break that we will see everybody two years after the last manga chapter. I am not happy with it but then again Oda has a master plan and he knows best. I am sure that whatever Oda does that we will be satisfied with it.

It will be interesting to see how much the world has changed in the last two years while everybody was doing their own thing. Things in the world of One Piece won't remind static since we last left the world with two Warlord positions empty, an Emperor dead, the Marines in the mist of restructuring, and pirates of both new and old rising. The main thing that I am wondering about is how many more pirates would be roaming the oceans. There will be tons of new pirates trying to enter the New World because of the death of Whitebeard while several New World pirates, including the ones we saw in the Battle of Marineford, that are growing in power. Then there is the fact that we have people like Crocodile and Buggy who were left with cliffhangers on what their plans were. Crocodile of all people surely wasn't doing nothing during his two years in what was most likely in the New World. Then all of those Level Six prisoners? What kind of imprint did they left on the world since they are surely another factor to consider.

One of the amazing things about One Piece is it's world and missing out on two years worth of changes just seems like a lot of things to miss out on. Surely this is going back from the beginning since we will be getting information on how the world changed piece by piece. When the new chapter primires next week we will know nothing about the world of One Piece. We won't know who took the place of Sengoku as Fleet Admiral until the time comes to see or how many new famous pirates have appeared on to the world stage until Luffy has to face them. Still an amazing world is ahead of us as we enter the New World while finding out about our old world that we are leaving behind.

Superneku: Couldn't have put all that better myself. All I can end this with is, please be patient everyone. You only have one more week, to wait for this fantastic series to return with a brand new adventure. But trust me, it'll be worth it. So until then, see you all later when we reach 2 years in the future...
