Thoughts
 Dropping the drama bomb!

It is interesting to see how things have taken a sudden turn on Punk Hazard. The arc could end with the Straw Hats and everybody else leaving right before Doflamingo arrives. It could also go the other way. Luffy does not look worn out compare to how he does in prior fights where he defeats big villains. If this is suppose to be a Doflamingo and Luffy showdown then Luffy could fight for a bit more before something cause it to end.

That is just one possibility that could happen. It took a few chapters for Buffalo and Baby 5 to arrive but who knows how long it will take to Doflamingo to gallop (or flap) over. There are a few things that need to be resolve such as the fight between Franky, Baby 5 and Buffalo. The Straw Hats can't go anywhere without Franky and it doesn't look as if that fight is going to end anytime soon.

It does look as if this could pan out to be a multi-plot arc like Barque Works was but the possible appearance of Doflamingo may change that. Crocodile never did took an active role this early on against Luffy. It wasn't until Luffy was right at Crocodile's doorstep did Crocodile began to take action against him.

The only difference between now and then is that Luffy is a famous pirate. That could be one of the major reasons why Doflamingo is heading to Punk Hazard to deal with Luffy himself in order to avoid the same mistake that Crocodile made. Law is another reason why he is moving as well because of how much Law knows. Those two together can cause some real trouble for Doflamingo if he doesn't eliminate them now. He doesn't want to leave it to chance in case Momet was indeed taken out.

Speaking of Momet, that was a plot twist! It was pretty sneaking what Law did to trick Caesar. You can tell that Law did some advance thinking to plan things out like that. I wonder if you look back at previous chapters to notice when Smoker had his heart. It is something that could have been easily missed. It was well played to in the last chapter were we kept getting panned to Smoker.

Is the arc going to end soon? Are we going to see more to Punk Hazard? Only time will tell as Doflamingo flies over to Punk Hazard. There is certainly more to this and Doflamingo is just the tip of the iceberg. Share your thoughts in the comments.

Until next time true believers!

 That is one smokin' gun

  1. So... can Doflamingo... Fly? So far he's had the most inconsistent collection of powers since Kuma, and that's saying something. Kuma could teleport, create air blasts, repel attacks, and pull out peoples pain, and somehow, it is all connected to his Paw Paw devil fruit powers. I did not get it.

Doflamingo can manipulate others telekinetically, slice giant sized limbs, and now can fly/leap across water. What's the connection?

By the way, I agree that was a well played twist with the switching of the hearts. Though I suppose that is the last we will be seeing of Monet.

One question I'm really starting to ponder now is... what the heck happened to Law's crew? Where's Bepo and the others? Did something happen to them during the time skip? Did Vergo kill them or something, and that is why Law was supposedly traumatized by him in an earlier battle?

    Just some things to ponder.
