Anime: Impel Down Arc- Episode 436

First Thoughts
Well this felt like another intense episode again. You know how most One Piece episodes seem to find to make ways  to make your laugh?  I mean no matter how serious the fight is, you can still laugh or smile. I mean we had serious fights before like the first and third Luffy vs Crocodile fight but at least you can put on a smile during the fight as you watch Luffy fight or get some relief from the antics of the StrawHats as they search for the bomb.

I can't be certain about this trait that One Piece battles have since I missed a lot of CP9 and I think seeing Luffy go Third Gear counts as funny and then I would smile everytime when I see Luffy go Second Gear because I know some cool stuff is going to happen. Though for a lot of this episode I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the title screen's statement of Luffy's 'last attack'. It was a rough ride. As in rough I mean this also felt like a slow episode too. Maybe that is why this episode felt so intense since what was going on the the screen was being dragged out so each moment felt painful to watch as we watch Luffy just suffer. Still I go into detail on that later.

Anime: Impel Down Arc- Episode 435

First Thoughts
Wow. For once I found it a bit hard to laugh at this episode. I kind of chuckled a bit at the beginning of the episode but really this was one serious episode. It was basically a fight between Luffy and Magellan that involved things that were not a laughing matter. I am not sure if this was because I already know the outcome or was it because I couldn't find away or think of a way that Luffy could defeat a foe he couldn't touch. I mean Luffy's fighting style is all about hand to hand combat. There isn't really a projectile attack in Luffy's arsenal. A fight that Usopp can win by shooting a few things is something that Luffy isn't able to do.

Still I also felt that this episode was a bit dragged out. That they were trying to buy time with Bon Clay's problem. I am not sure about this and I won't know til next week when I get my hands on Shonen Jump but I am hoping that not too much was filler.

Also I just realize that this post will be my first covering a fight in One Piece. It was mostly fighting so I am not sure how I will handle this one. I feel like I took too many screencaps. I hope this will be something good though. haha

One Piece More: Moe Sells (Not So Good in Winter)

As far as I know, this is as 'moe' as One Piece gets. Chopper is just a way to sell cute things when it comes to One Piece and really.....it is pretty damn cute. I am sure there are better things in One Piece that could be consider 'moe' and maybe I have the whole meaning of moe all wrong. Still I think this is cute enough don't you think?

Still what is moe? Is it something cute? Something loveable? Some person from the Simpsons? Something you eat? Well whatever moe is, I hope it is something good.

Still I think that is enough about moe. So how about we get into the More.
