Manga: Chapter 616 (SPOILERS!)

SPOILERS! SPOILERS! SPOILERS!

Oh Brook...you deserved it for being a perv...BUY VIZ'S ONE PIECE!

This week's cavalade of awesome starts with unidentified people gaining the attention of everyone around the Ryuuguu Kingdom including citizens, Luffy and the palace. At first it looks like border patrol but there is no response. As everyone all over looks towards the sky, we find out that it turns out to be Hodi, Vander Decken and the rest of the New Fishman Pirates riding atop HUGE breeds of fish including a giraffe, a rhino, an elephant and even a gorilla. Hodi promises to everyone that the repetition of past mistakes shall happen no more, while Vander Decken is still a maniac and believes that it will soon be the anniversary of his stupid proposal to Shirahoshi. As each of the crew ensure that they shall not fail, Hodi declares today the last day of the Ryuuguu Kingdom and that they shall become the new rulers....I can hardly wait to see the fights >w<

ROBIN! I MISSED YOU! ;__:

Meanwhile at a Fish Bus stop, one of the buses got hijacked by a woman and is long gone. Who should this woman be but..ROBIN! FINALLY! She managed to gain some information that there is in fact a Poneglyph on the island and she is determined to find it and decipher it to finding out "the Blank Century". Now thats interesting, Robin has found 2 awesome revelations from Poneglyphs in the series so far and now a third is on its way. Can't wait to find out what it'll say. Back at Ryuuguu Palace, the Minister of the Left and Zoro are arguing over the armed human pirates Zoro just cut down, while the others are lamenting over how everything is not going how they expected. King Neptune is still distraught over Shirahoshi being missing and is accusing everyone since Luffy must've taken her. Brook explains that he only saw Luffy and Megalo leave the room, despite Neptune saying that she is as big as he is thus impossible to not spot (while Brook mistakes her for being fat. HA XD). Suprisingly, Neptune hits the nail on the head as he guesses that Shirahoshi is hiding in Megalo's mouth, but of course everyone just laughs since that idea is so ridiculous. Even though Nami says that their captain would never kidnap someone, Neptune still doesn't believe them and states that until Shirahoshi is home safe and sound they will not return the rest of the crew or the Thousand Sunny to them.

Franky is secretly the great grandson of Johnny Five

At the Sea Forest, we see a place called the "Ship's Graveyard" since sunken ships are dragged here by currents. A giant tree stands out amongst the coral and wrecked ships, it turns out to be the Sun Tree Eve (the one Neptune mentioned a few chapters ago). Who should be here but...FRANKY! FINALLY....again. As well as someone else, a Wolf-fish merman called Den who happens to be the youngest brother of Tom san. Now THIS is cool. Den knows all about Franky and Iceberg's story from letters that Kokoro apparently wrote to him. Franky notices that someone is sitting in the distance, it turns out to be Jinbei but since he's a wanted man he can't enter the island and is waiting for someone (as we know is Luffy). Back at Ryuuguu Palace, Hodi and Vander Decken arrive and swarm all over the place, the Minister of the Right points out that he actually used to be a part of the Royal Army (how much do you want to bet that Hodi's intentions are over jealousy?). As the Straw Hats and the New Fishman Pirates meet, Neptune demmands to Decken that Shirahoshi be returned at once but Decken is confused since he doesn't have her of course. Decken is distraught that she is not at the Palace, Hodi points out that the human pirates he threw at her are there so she could still be here as well as reminding him of his ability. Decken breaks a large branch of coral and uses his powers to guide it towards Shirahoshi. Our chapter ends with him proclaiming that if she is in love with someone else then he is going to kill her....what a dick.

Jeez the villians get crazier and crazier don't they?

So what did I think of this chapter? With Robin and Franky FINALLY back in the picture, we gain 1 great revelation/path for each of them although I'm still wondering when they'll reunite with the rest of the Straw Hats. Hodi and Decken showed of some more great villainy and Neptune still continues to be a smart yet funny king. But now we need to ask; will Decken and Luffy finally clash? Will the Straw Hats and the Royal Guards manage to hold off Hodi? Will Sanji and Chopper make it in time? Will Franky and Robin meet up with the others and gain their own ambitions here? FIND OUT NEXT TIME!

See you all next time mah buddies!
