Once again guys, Jump is on break but due to all the stuff the Japanese have been going through I can't blame them. By the way, it still isn't too late to help them out! Donate/find more info via the large Anime and Manga Bloggers for Japan banner!
If you manga readers need a recap heres the skinny; after fighting and escaping Vander Decken, Luffy, Shirahoshi, Hachi, Chopper and Sanji are now on their way to the Sea Forest. Coincidently because she wants more information of Hodi's rebellion and the backstory of the Fishmen Pirates Nami is also on her way to the Sea Forest along with Keimi. At Ryuuguu Palace, the underwater battle between Zoro and Hodi may have been "cut" short (lol pun) since Zoro managed to slice Hodi pretty deeply even though Hodi should've had the advantage. As for the rest of the Straw Hats, Usopp and Brook manage to witness this at the Palace, Franky is already at the Sea Forest with Den (Tom san's brother) and finally Robin is also heading to the Sea Forest hoping to find a Ponegyph there. So obviously the Sea Forest is what is going the reunite the Straw Hats (or at least most of them) as well as having important sbackstories and histories aplenty.
Of course we're still waiting on other big events such as seeing Caribou again, Vander Decken's revenge, Big Mum, as well as Madam Shirley's prediction. I'm sure some of you are impatient at this point since its been on break quite a few times now, but please have patience because its going to be all worth it in the end. Trust me. On that note, watch One piece online, buy the dvds, buy the manga to hold you over and see you all when the new chapter is out. Have a good one guys.
