Manga: No New Chapter (SPOILERS) and Speculation

SPOILERS!!! SPOILERS!!! SPOILERS!!!

and Speculation 

So this week we have no new manga chapter for One Piece. That means two things. Oda is taking a break to prep for Movie Ten and that next week's chapter will be awesome. haha

So to recap what has happen so far. We discover that the Marines have been stockpiling tons of Pacifistas to conduct a Buster Call-ish attack on the pirates. Kuma has gone though full Pacifista-cation to become PX-0 and is going attack crazy. Whitebeard got stabbed by Squado in a plot by the Marines to divide Whitebeard forces. Then Whitebeard uses his Gura Gura Powers to break the ice to give a chance for any pirates to escape if they don't want to fight with him against the Marines.

Also we see some Luffy things as in seeing how what Mihawk calls an 'ability to gather allies from the people around him'.

Some pretty big things. Not much of battling. Well we got some but it seems a like all of the battling is being overshadowed by the epic events.

So what the expect from next week? It is safe to guess that we will see some Whitebeard battling action. As for Luffy...Umm...I don't know. I am thinking that while all the Whitebeard drama was happening that he was running towards the platform. I mean what does Luffy have to concern himself with Whitebeard's crew problems? He seem concern when Whitebeard was stabbed but why care about the other things. It is possible seeing that we only got one panel of Luffy in the last chapter.

Still that isn't what I am speculating about. Today I am taking a guess at Crocodile's weakness/secret that Ivankov mention back in Impel Down. This has been bothering me for a good while now. To me Crocodile is so awesome that it is hard to imagine that something as in a secret could get him to work with Luffy so easily. A mere threat from a person like Iva was able to stop him.

So what I am about to say is a pure guess and it is something crazy. So if you don't want to hear this then just don't read the rest of the post. I even put a few spaces before I talk about. Crazy stuff. Still stay tune. Going to do another manga post with NO SPOILERS! It is going to be over Romance Dawn.




I think this weakness that Iva was talking about is that Crocodile was a woman originally. Crazy I know but try to hear me out. One thing is that we don't know Crocodile's full name. We can only guess that Crocodile is his last name since many of the (human) Warlords are called by their last names. I mean I don't even know Doflamingo's first name without looking it up. Still all we know about Crocodile's name Sir Crocodile but for real? Sir is his last name? Sounds more like a title. So that means his first name is a mystery.

Then we know that Iva has the power to change hormones to where he can alter the gender of anybody. If he can turn men to women then it can be done the other way around right? Women to men? Sounds possible if you ask me. Iva also knows Crocodile from Croc's rookie days which is still a mystery to us.

So this is what I am thinking. Crocodile start out his pirate journey as a female but found it hard to gain respect as a female pirate. So to change this, Croc went to Iva to use his powers to go from female to male. Once that Crocodile began to raise in power and became who he is today. Then the Croc that we know right now is what everybody knows thus leaving his female persona fade in the sands.

Crazy crazy. I know. Still I can see Crocodile being scared if something like this was let known to the world. I don't think that the weakness the Iva was talking about could be his water weakness. If so that be kind of lame. Though it won't be the first time something like this happen. We all knew who was Luffy's dad chapters before it being reveal to the public in Marineford.
