This chapter is very...different. I'm going to classify it as a Straw Hat-lite chapter since they do not appear at all in this chapter. In fact, this is a rare one that focuses only on the villains. With that in mind, let's dive right in.

Throughout the entirety of Fishman Island (throughout the chapter in fact) is being taking over by Hodi's pirates. In the West town called Waterwheel Town, the goons have actually already been beaten up by the 3 Princes. The townspeople try to suggest using these goons as hostages to freeing the King but one of the goons Dosun (who is a Hammerhead Sharkman) says thats not going to work as he is too irrational and wouldn't think twice about leaving them to die. One of the other goons manages to grab an energy steroid with his long mouth and spits it into Dosun's mouth....gross. Dosun continues to show how fierce Hodi is by saying even hated fishmen who simply did business with humans and fishmen who were involved with blood transfusions were executed at night by his men. The effects of the steroids take over Dosun and he suddenly grows angry and insult the humans, in fact he manages to break free of his chains with his Popeye-esque physique. He then grabs a hammer (where it came from I don't know) and destroys a building by swinging at it like a baseball bat, that was admittingly awesome. They then decide to head over to the execution platform. We then cut to, Hyozo (the drunken poison octopusman with a sword from a few chapters ago) in Southern Fishman Island who is of course drunk. His men try to drag the drunken fool to the battle against Fukaboshi but one of the poor guys gets cut down by the Alcoholic Assassin....thats it. Thats all we get of this group.

Alcheehol eez deadleh!

Now we're in the East at the Shopping Mall, where Zeo (the wobbegongman who can use camoflauge) is beating up the townspeople while camoflauged but who then manages to get beat up by accident because they saw a bug and decided to crush it....he has really bad luck. He then announces the execution at the plaza...and thats all we get of this group....are you seeing a pattern yet? We then go to the 3 Princes on their way to the Gyoncorde Plaza, they think that since this is unusual for Hodi that the execution could be a trap but Fukaboshi says he'll go anyway since he won't let the citizens be silenced again. Manboshi realises that humans have stopped coming because of Hodi and Ryuboshi thinks Shirahoshi is still at the tower since they haven't heard from them in so long. They ponder over Madame Shirley's prediction of the island being destroyed by the Straw Hats but they think that the Straw Hats are to be trusted. At Gloverly Hills, the Ministers of the Left and Right are beaten up since they're trying to take down a SEA BEAR....its scary. The goons that they're fighting try to scare the bear with fire to calm it down (wouldn't that make things worse?) But the focused villain of this part Ikaros Much (a Giant Squid fishman) tells them to stop since the heat is making him roast like dried squid. This is apparently due to Ikaros losing a giant squid friend of his called Daidaros who roasted by getting too close to the sun....oooookaaaay. Get this; he stabs one of his goons with a sharp, dried squid, the squid actually sucks the water out of the person who got stabbed and dies or  dehydrates....that is both very silly, but badass. Ikaros then goes all Kenshiro on us and pounds on the poor guy with his hands into a flat dried squid-like state.....damn. Think I like this guy the best. Just then Hodi shows up flying on a giraffe fish thing along with his goons and the chained up King Neptune. Hodi is in pain since hes been taking energy steroids to not feel the pain of the wound Zoro gave him back at the palace. He then cries out in pain and says he can't breathe, all of a sudden he lets out a big shout and the Sea Bear calms down and looks frightened. Our chapter ends with the goons deducing that the bear is now under his control....interesting. I guess Fukaboshi might have to do battle against this steroid inducing power with her Haki....maybe.

ATATATATATATATATATATA~!

So as you might've guessed, I had a lot of nitpicking with this chapter. The main problems being, its introducing villains we already knew about and its setting up stuff for later. I'm not saying thats a bad thing, I just think that its been done better. I did like seeing each of the reintroducted villains kicking some ass and preparing for the battle, I just don't think it was necessary. As for this steroid commanding power Hodi has in this state, thats the real nail in the coffin for the Straw Hats/Jinbei's plans to stop Hodi. Thats going to be exciting to see how that turns out. I was expecting an action packed chapter but didn't get it. Okay I'm complaining too much. Overall, this wasn't that bad for the obligitory exposition chapter that we've seen in a lot of arcs, I'm just wanting to see the Straw Hats kick some butt and save the day as always. I'm starved for action. Even if the next chapter is more of it, I'll accept it. I'm sorry if I sounded negative, I'm just being a brat. I'll be fine next time I do a post, I swear. Maybe these drugs will help....or not.

See you all next time, don't do drugs, don't do alcohol, know all this and knowing is half the battle.
